Tobago is quite a tropical island that offers great weather and lots of sunshine, with the occasional shower to cool things down. A brolly can come in handy at times, but travelling light is recommended.
We know writing a list of what to pack is a pretty tedious task, so we’ve done it for you. Simply tick off the list as you go!
Clothing & Footwear
- Warm light clothing (t-shirts, shorts, trousers, jeans, etc.)
- Waterproof jacket.
- Socks.
- Comfortable sneakers/walking shoes
- Water shoes.
- Swimsuits, trunks, bikinis etc.
- Sunglasses
- Cap or sunhat.
- A nice outfit (shirt/dress etc - optional, but recommended as there’s many an opportunity for a night out!)
Toiletries
- Toothbrush & Toothpaste.
- Just a bit if you wish to bring your own- Shampoo and body wash
- Deodorant.
- Sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher & broad-spectrum protection against UVA & UVB rays sun can be quite intense.
- Towel
- Insect repellent.
- Multi-vitamins (optional, but recommended for staying in tip-top shape on tour).
- All of these can also be purchased locally here on island but if you have your favourites you can bring them with you!
Electronics
- Chargers (for any gadgets you bring!)
- Power adapters if necessary.
- Camera.
- Phone (consider also packing a power-bank)
- Most places offer Wi-Fi, so internet connection is not much of a big worry.
Other Travel Essentials
- Travel documents: passport, travel insurance details, flight tickets, tour booking details.
- Travel cushion (if necessary).
- Earplugs.
- Backpack/rucksack (good for taking things with you during the day and on walks etc).
- Reusable Water bottle.
- Any medication you may need.
